ELEGANT THREADS: WEARABLE ART EXHIBIT
October 18 – November 21, 2018
Good news!! Only 39 artists from around the world were selected for a juried exhibition at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta, Florida. One of my mixed media clutches from my new Painted Purse collection was selected to be included in the art show, Elegant Threads: Wearable Art and Surface Design.
Imagine walking around carrying a Painted Purse, a unique painting that is special to you, a purse that is truly a work of art (and affordable, considering it is one-of-a-kind). The canvas has been protected; you can even spill your wine and wipe it off! The line is available in a range of color palettes, from neutrals to pastels and tropical colors. Artfully designed, collectible—whether you wear it or display it!
The one-of-a-kind collection of Painted Purses is my newest art-venture.
Many items in the exhibit are for sale, with a portion of the sales benefiting the ArtCenter. My entry is NFS as I love it too much, but there is a selection of my clutches available in the Gift Shop.
